Whenever I wax my upper lip the next day I get white bumps (pimples) where I waxed. I have most recently applied coconut oil to my upper lip immediately after waxing to soothe and remove the excess wax. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent this from happening?

Maybe you're allergic to the wax. I recommend threading instead.

You can't wax all areas esp on your face.
I get that when above my brow is waxed but not when she waxes to arch the brow ( crazy right?) so we don't wax the top anymore. it happened once. only wax my arch. so for you, stop waxing your upper lip n use another method instead..
I didn't like threading. the lady literally nicked by skin with the thread. the whole experience hurt like hell..ever do it again.. lol..
good luck!.
