How would you describe your skin? the key to finding a skin routine that works is using something that's made for your skin type. acne systems use certain ingredients to deal with certain kinds of acne so once you find out what kind of acne you have you can narrow products down from there.

Balance is the key to achieving good skin that seems bit on the combination side. ingredients like lavender, rose, aloe and chamomile will help get your skins sebum production in check. the nice thing is all those ingredients will help soothe any redness and irritation as well. for oil control try using a clay based cleanser or mask. ingredients like charcoal, rhassoul mud and kaolin clay will absorbe any excess oil and grime but not leave the skin feeling tight and dry. honey is a fantastic antibacterial ingredient for sensitive skin. unlike tea tree or witch hazel it will not dry out your skin it will actually hydrate :) sorry for the long post. I never like recommending a specific regime because everyone's skin is different and what may be a magic product for one person might be a nightmare for someone else's.

No wonder tea tree and witch hazel makes my skin dry again.

It makes sense to think that because tea tree and witch hazel, along woth other astringents/antiseptics, are natural they won't be harsh on the skin but nature can be powerful too :)

The reason for your acne, I'm assuming based on the skin type you provided above, us because of bacteria mixing with dry skin. Here's what you'll need for your skin care regime
Castor oil and jojoba (almond and sunflower work too). Mix a drop of the second oil into the castor and massage it into the skin. wash with your fave cleanser.
night cream- this is probably the most important thing for you. it'll calm the itchyness and reduce redness as well as healing your breakups. but be careful. buy a night cream with retinol and dead sea salt but make sure there are no mineral oils (cause breakouts on acne prone skin)
Daily wear lotion - buy a moisturizer made for dry skin. I really like Aubrey's rosehip moisturizer for dry skin. massage some into your fave everyday. wait for it to absorb and then do make up. :) hope this helps

One more thing! exfoliate twice a week...keeps the dead skin from settling into your pores
