It will reduce in appearance but it will scar. Once I burnt my thigh with a curling iron (never curl your hair on the floor with no pants on lol) I had a huge burn the shape of a curling iron. It's a lot smaller and less noticeable but it did leave a mark.

Apply the burn cream 2-3 times a day and make sure to cover it with gauze or a bandaid to make sure it doesn't get infected. keep it clean so germs don't get there, and the thing with burns scarring, it all depends how well you keep care of it and how big the degree of the burn is. I got a 1-2 degree burn when I touched. a hot pan with my arm 5 years ago, and it left a small white scar about the size of a penny.

I personally think it will heal but things like this can take about 2 years to fade after scarring happens. even if it scars, the scar will fade in time.

It might scar if you peel it when it drys out..but I don't think it's that deep..I had a worse burn and it didn't scar because I put a medicinal creams for burn..unfortunately I don't remeber the name of it. I would go to the pharmcy and ask a pharmicist about a good over the counter burning cream.

If it does scar once its healed use bio oil however when I was making tea I burn my tummy when some boiling water splashed back on me it was last christmas and a badish burn ( I had to sleep and hold ice on it for a week all the time) and now I don't even have a scar.
