I think it is too dark near the brow. You should post a picture after you apply your liner and mascara.

I think you should use less of the shimmery shadow & more black eye shadow. :) You have very nice eyebrows, BTW.

Instead of taking it all the way up to the brow take it just into the crease of your eye and use a nude colour under your brow, this will make your eyebrows stand out more and make your makeup less heavy x.

- Dark color all over lid
- Medium shade in the crease
- light shade above crease
- and lots of blending
There are lots of other things that go into the smokey, but that's just a general idea of a smokey eye. You want a smokey eye to start from dark on the entire lid and have it fade past the crease.
