I agree, sorry girlie. Lemon helps brighten and removes scars, try Shea butter as well!

Tell him to quit picking at them, he's gotten a couple spots infected from touching them. He needs to put triple antibiotic cream on the scabs, and start washing his face twice a day with acne cleanser. Lemon will lighten the scaring.

Get him started on a good face routine. Cleanse, tone, and moisturizer. For the acne scars I would recommend something like the Mario Badescu whitening mask, that should fade those spots within a couple of uses. But it's important to stress to not scratch or pick his spots as that may cause scars and pigmentation.
