My face and my arms are tanned. I have been using lemon juice for my face! anything other than that could help me more?
thanks!

What are you using the lemon juice for?
Sep 20, 2013
Surbhi A.
For lightening the acne scars!

The lemon juice is only going to lighten the pigment of your skin and what it does is temporarily stain the skin. You need to use something like bio oil to help with scars. And unfortunately the more you tan the darker the scars will get.

Really? arghh mann.
can you help me with the tanning part?
and some more information on bio-oil?

Tanning does not always make acne scars worse at all. It can in SOME cases but definitely not in all however Bio Oil is a good suggestion. Requires time and patience but it does work, I am currently using it to get rid of weight gain scars. It's cheap and you can get it from most places such as supermarkets, drug stores etc.x

What did you want to know about the tanning?!

Tanning will eventually fade away on it own. exfoliation may help speeding the process though.

In my opinion, I wouldn't go tanning at all :/ UV rays are TERRIBLE for your skin.
obviously going every now & then isn't a huge deal, but if you wanna keep a good tan going year-round without turning your skin into leather, I'd maybe try a tanning cream or spray. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't make your scars worse either since it doesn't actually change the pigment in your skin.
there's some really great ones out there that give really nice natural glows. just have to make sure you apply it properly, cause it doesn't leave your clothes easily xD

I would just stay out of the sun and use a lot of sunscreen!
