No. I don't care what anyone says. Biotin ONLY works if you have a BIOTIN DEFICIENCY. I see people saying all the time that taking Biotin caused:
- acne
- weight gain
- moods swings
- etc
That's because they take Biotin when they DONT have a deficiency for it and they're pumping excess amount of it into their body which can cause negative side effects.
Check with a doctor first.

Heather is absolutely correct. Don't take it unless you have an illness that calls for it or have a biotin deficiency.
You can do hair treatments that will yield the same results, without negative side effects. Stronger hair that will not break so easily. Keep in mind it is virtually impossible to increase the rate of your hair growth... but by taking good care of it and avoiding heat, gel, or other harmful products you will see your hair make progress. And for stronger nails... Iron pills are amazing.. lol.
I have been doing a hair treatment and taking extra care of my hair.. these are the results. Keep in mind I am allowing my hair to be natural, and the only product in it is conditioner. It is not a faster hair growth rate.. it is quality and good treatment of my hair that is not disturbing it.
