I'm wanting to dye my hair a true red without bleaching, Is manic panic rock N roll red a good dye to get that true dark red color?

Well I once went on their site and it said that in order to get the colors as shown you had to get it bleached first, BUT if your hair is as in your profile pic I think you can pull off the true red without breaching :)

Manic panic honestly sucks! Try Loreal Hi lights, no bleaching needed, and the red is vibrant and rich in color.

The dye that I recently use was manic panic rock n roll red (it's my profile photo) it's a nice color for sure, but it fades so much. I red dyed my hair yesterday after only having it for about a week and a half. If you plan on dyeing your hair frequently and changing colors often then yeah, manic panic is good but I highly recommend the brand special effects because it makes your hair soft and stays way longer.

Dude ok. best red is L'oreal hi-lights (the highlighting formula). but it can be damaging!! it uses a high volume developer. so after you dye it with that, use SFX nuclear red or SFX cherry bomb (depending if you want warm or cool red) to re-dye it when it fades and only use he hi-lights to touch up your roots.

I think it should work fine. Manic Panic also has many other red colors, so if that one isn't the exact color, you can try another one. And how long it lasts is all based on how you take care of your hair. The dye is also very conditioning and good for your hair.
