So I was thinking about getting a wavy perm before I go back to school, but I have a few questions. Do they look nice? Does it make your hair frizzy? How long does it last? Also, could you please post pictures of them and tell me what your opinions are on them. Thank youuu.

I didnt know ppl still got perms. If your just looking for waves you could get the look with a curling wand. Perms can be a pain in the butt to grow out.

How long they last varies drastically on your own hair type. Same with frizz, it can depend on your hair type and the kind of perm used, cheap crappy perm solution can definitely result in frizz. I get my hair permed, and I like them. Your best bet is to go talk to the stylist you would be having do it, have him or her access your hair and do a consultation. Tell them upfront youre not sure if you want one or not, I have people come in frequently and honestly have to explain that a perm may not be in their best interest.
