I'm not sure about stuff around the house but try Moroccan oil products like shampoo and or sprays.

Head and shoulders shampoo really helps. Or try coconut oil, it'll moisturize the scalp and also make your hair shiny and strong. Just massage it into the scalp like shampoo. :)

Don't wash hair every day, use oil based products.

Coconut oil is great. Massage it into your hair and scalp and leave it on for 2 -3 hours depending on how dry it is, then shampoo out, but don't condition. Do that once a week. I bought some 2 weeks ago, I've used it twice and noticed a considerable difference already. My hair is shiny and my scalp isnt dry at all. And its cheap to buy!

Changing up to a less harsh shampoo can moisturize your scalp a little more. Look for something sulfate free. Also try washing your hair with just conditioner. It will clean your hair effectively and not be so harsh :)
