Since it's a dinner, I would avoid a bright lip, unless you use a stain or you don't mind touching it up constantly. You could do a brown smokey eye if its more formal, but if it's casual, I'd say light shimmery lid and maybe some lip balm.

A nice look that's really simple (and can be dressed up or dressed down) is just using maybelline eye studio color tattoo in bad to the bronze just sweep over the eye and tap out! Lasts all night and looks incredible!!
