I have combination skin with moderate acne. My skin is also SUPER sensitive. I wanted to try Proactiv since nothing else seems to work without causing a reaction. Thoughts?

I used proactiv before and to be honest it didn't do anything more than dry out my skin! But I have heard it worked well with other people's skin! If your skin is sensitive I think it would be too rough, it's a lot if scrubbing and drying out the skin!!

Yeah, I would not recommend it for sensitive skin. Try a natural remedy, like honey and cinnamon- it works well for me, at least.

My friend uses it and she has been for almost a year and she says it hardly works. not worth it!! try acne free (the 3 step solution) it works for me! it's just a cream and liquid solution. super good for sensitive.

It really worked for me! But it is really drying. It is good if you have bad acne to clear it up but once its better you should use a different, gentler face cleaner brand.

Worst thing for your skin, and sooo much money, they actually cheated us because we asked for a every other month shipment but they charged us every month, also they charged us $60 (they charged us for 3 months) after we canceled and then ignored our calls.

I heard that it has some sort of chemical that will make your skin addicted to it, so if you stop using it your skin will go cray. and besides its tons of money.

And vanessa, I also have combination skin, with mild acne, and its super sensitive. my suggestion, buy a clarisonic. check out the website and telk me what you think. its a little expensive, but I love mine. its worth the money.

I love it! It's a bit harsh, but it really clears your skin)

I'm always leery of these very strong home remedy kits. Your skin is so intensely personal that I would consult a derm. The derm may even end up recommending ProActive, but if not used under just the right circumstances, you may do more harm than good. I'd ask my derm first.

It's a great deal only the first time. But then I'd you want other thing with it, it becomes quite a bit more expensive. Tried it and it helped a little, but not any more than something from Walgreens/CVS/any other drug store would have. I mean, I still have acne 😕
