Well you're definitely old enough! Go for it, just not while you're drunk or anything lol. And make sure that the person is using clean utensils..

If your going to get one get one that means something and you know it always will I'd also say start with something small because it might hurt! X.

Why not! Get it on a place where you can conceal it with clothing if you ever have an interview or work in a professional setting one day.

As long as you do it for the right reason and it can be whatever you want but it will be there forever.

My friend who has a few tattoos gave me great advice concerning them. Once you finally realize what you want, get it drawn out. Look at the picture every day for 8 months. After all that time you still like it, then get it! Just make sure it's something you will love for years to come :)

If you know you want it, do it!
A friend of mine leaves the image she plans to get somewhere she can see it everyday to make sure she doesn't get bored and its something she wants to have on her forever,it seems like a good idea

As long as there is a meaning to it and its somewhere that can be hidden (most jobs won't let tattoos show) I would say go for it! I have tattoos and piercing I love them!!

I have 3 tatts & I'm so ready for my 4th. All of mine have special meanings & can be easily concealed. I did the same thing Jamie mentioned, leaving the image out for a while to decide. Whatever you pick will stay with you forever so choose well. :)

Research artists in your area thoroughly. Look at portfolios, visit the shops, and make sure you ask about sanitation. They should be using autoclave sterilization and using new needles for every tattoo. Find an artist you like, and discuss your idea. They can recommend size and placement so that your tattoo will look the best it possibly can.
If you only want to get something small because you are afraid of pain, you aren't ready for a tattoo. Tattoos hurt--it is the sacrifice you make to have something added permanently to your body. To most, enduring the pain is worth it. Besides, you'd be surprised how easily you adjust once they start the tattoo. Mine took two and a half hours and I didn't even really notice it after the very beginning. Don't compromise the quality of your tattoo because you are afraid it will hurt.

I personally like tattoos, as long as they have meaning behind them. I'd say, go for it! If there's a design you like and you can find a reputable artist, tattooing will probably be easier. Pinterest also has a lot of stuff on tattooing if you're interested in additional information. Good luck!
