I am a makeup artist and want to start taking pictures of my eyes/clients eyes/work. Is there a special editing program or a good type of camera I can invest in so the picture quality is really good and true to color? The current camera I have is a Canon Powershot ELPH 300HS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am definitely willing to invest some money into it, just not thousands and thousands of dollars or anything like that. No I do not do any other photography.
