You guys look super young. I would stay away from makeup for now, since neither of you need it! You have naturally beautiful youthful features, embrace that. If you want to stand out in a positive way, do so by being good examples. Be friendly and kind, good students, make friends and be happy. That will make you stand out more than any physical trait ever could. Inspire others with a positive attitude, with, and intelligence. :)

Omg you two remind me a lot of myself and my ex-best friend. Even in looks. It's crazy. Anyways, since you're both young you really don't need to worry about make up so stand out with your hair, clothes, and nails! Try out new, interesting hair styles. You can find a ton of videos on youtube for hair along with nails. Bright colors on your nails and intricate designs can score you a ton of compliments. You can get outfit inspiration from here, polyvore, and google just to name a few. Hope this helps, have fun next year :)

You can look to younger celebs for cool fashion and beauty ideas (elle fanning, elizabeth olsen, willow smith, etc). be super nice and friendly. go out of your way to be kind to others. that's the best way to stand out. :)
