How often should I wash my brushes? I have sensitive skin and use Dr. Bronner's soap and water to cleanse them, and I use them almost every day. I have been cleaning them once a week but I wasn't sure if that was too often or not.

Its good but maybe you should use a brush cleaner instead of soap it may leave residue . Ever week is good every day is for spot cleaning

I do it whenever my make up starts feeling funny, or I want to use a new product.

You should do it everyday to avoid breakouts/contaminating your makeup. I use Basis, which is my soap free facial wash to wash my makeup brushes. It removes oil, dirt and makeup so I figure that if it's good enough for my face then it is good enough for my makeup brushes as well.

I use baby shampoo, cetaphil face wash, or the MAC brush cleaner on my brushes every 10 days or so. My brushes ranged in price from $1-$50 and all of them look and feel fantastic after being washed with one of those three products!

Foundation brushes I wash after each use. Other brushes I spot clean after most uses, then do a deep clean every month (I don't wear makeup every day). For spot cleaning I use brush cleanser (MAC's). For deep cleaning I use baby shampoo. (There's nothing wrong with the soap you're using either, Britt. IIRC, Dr. Bronner's is pretty gentle?)
