This struck me as very glamorous. Almost Noir like. It brought to mind some silent-era divas..only in deep, rich color. I immediately was drawn to the dark lip. Secondly, I noticed your pale complexion and how beautifully the darker tones played against it..which lead me right to your eyes. You did an amazing job.

@Tara, I can see what Jacqueline means..

when I had clients with your eye shape. I would always use a darker above the crease. (kind of the exact opposite of what you have here) but I wasn't going for hard egde, I just felt it gave the eye dimension. I'd blend it all out. but in your case if your trying to b more edgy maybe you can do the same but keep the lines a little more defined than I did. I.wish I had pics to show. jeez.
let me know if you ladies agree. can you even see what I'm tying to convey?
I still think its pretty, but you're going for edgy.. so trying to give my little "two cents" help you get that..

Thank you for that assessment miss Jackie, you are right about the strangeness of the color placement I was very frustrated when I was doing this look and when I feel scatter brain everything I'm my life reflects it. I can't hide my emotions at all. I do have a front view of thus if you want to see it. I am always interested to hear gore your mind works because you are so opposite from me I have to really fight for any assemblance if organized thought.

I wish I had the eye for details that you ladies have. When I do makeup a lot of the rules just go out the window. I am really working on that its a big challenge for me and I think really hurts my makeup style that I can't seem to get it down. Maybe its just because I am not as practiced as I need to be. This was the first time I have ever done such a bold look and I was very emotional so I just let it show in my work. I extended the line longer purposefully because I just wanted an almost avante garde look. I will post a front pic of it. I really hate this pic very much!! This is only for you Miss Jackie!!
