SO I recently started using Make-up I know the basics, eye-liner, mascara ect.. but I am awful finding the right foundation and concealer! I want help with you best choice of a light foundation that feels like I'm not really wearing any, and concealer to cover my dark circles BUT have the same tone as my skin! Not only that, my choice in blushes are always awful looking, corals and oranges look best, cant find any good ones - What do you recommend??
Also I recently purchased a makeup brush set from BH Cosmetics and their 88 matte palette eye shadow! Whats your opinion on BH cosmetics? Is it worth it? if not BH, is coastal scents better?

I would suggest if you aren't sure of a foundation or concealer shade, go to a place like sephora and ask one of the makeup artist for help. Also for foundation, if you are in a store where they let you test the products apply the one that you think is your shade, on your jaw line. It should blend in with the rest of your skin. Sometimes even drugstores have little charts next to a certain makeup product to help you find the right shade. But always remember that when testing out foundation, to never apply it to your hand. Your hands are more than likely lighter than your face. Always blend down to the neck so you avoid having a mask effect.
As far as blush goes, sephora and mac have good ones. You could ask an artist to help you pick out a good shade. Also I had purchased the 88 matte palette from bh cosmetics and I'm not too crazy about it. On darker skin it can look a bit chalky. The pigmentation is nice though. The matte shades are hard to blend whereas the shimmery shades are easier. There isn't much of a difference between Coastal Scents and bh Cosmetics because they both get there palettes from the same manufacturer. The prices just vary on certain products. The blushes are nice but It can be chalky depending on your skin shade. They are both nice products especially if your starting out in makeup.
BTW: If you havn't tried bh's stippling foundation brush, please do. Its so good and leaves a flawless finish to your makeup. Hope this helps.

I recommend going to Sephora and getting somebody to try foundations and concealers on you, and then getting samples of numerous shades so you can try them out at home.
I don't care for bh cosmetics or CS. I'd rather spend my money on good quality makeup.

foundation wise you might not want to get a tone exact to yours try a shade lighter u can always contour and bronze and it will look great .... concealer isnt too hard to match up
