I talked to my hairdresser today about buying the Remy hair extensions. I've never had extensions, so I'm completely new and know nothing about them. My hair has been falling out and I'd like to get some clip in ones on the days I can't stop crying about all the hair in the drain!
My question is has anyone tried the clip in extensions? How did you like them? Are they hard to put in? And anything else you think I should know before purchasing. Thanks! =)

I love my clip in hair extensions! I just bought mine from Luxy Hair (luxyhairextensions.com). They're 20 inches. It's $139.95 for the deluxe 160 gram set if you have thick hair, and $119.95 for 120 grams if you have thin hair. They're so soft and luscious, worth every penny! And they're not hard to put in at all. You get 9 or 10 pieces to clip into your hair. The Luxy sisters (owners or founders) have a YouTube channel under LuxyHair and they have all kinds of videos that show you how to put them in and care for your extensions. The website is also very helpful, I recommend checking it out if you really want to invest in hair extensions. :) Good luck darling!

i bought remy 18" clip in extensions from sallys for like $100. the brand is called euronet or something like that, something with europe in it lol. but i absolutely loved them. they add so much volume and thickness to your hair, as well as length of course. i love how flexible they are in the fact that you can just clip them in and clip them out as you please. whats good about 100% real remy extensions, is you can curl, straighten, dye, bleach, whatever you need to do. ive dyed mine 4 different colors, as well as bleached them two different times, and they do not feel or look damaged at all. you just have to be sure to take very good care of them so they last. follow the instructions on how to wash them, and be very gentle with them. also be sure to dry the clips really well after washing the hair, because the clips can become weak and break. overall, extensions are amazing and a lot of fun, and i definitely think its worth the investment.

No offense taken Demi W. there are a lot of girls out there who have problems with it, but i'm still loving mine. I used heat on it three times in a day, no heat protectant, and washed it twice in a couple days, and i colored them. I experience
Minimal shedding!!

Your probably in the shedding stage your hair goes through. Your hair goes through a process on growing, resting and shedding. Not every hair strand goes through this at the same time, however it is scary. As far as extensions, you could try our extensions (Modern Sophistication) and if you email us we can tell you anything you need to know, answer any questions, and provide you with the perfect tailored product to fit your needs. You can email me at BrooklynCooper@ModernSophistication.com for more information. If you are just curious about your hair in general, you can email me with questions and I can provide detailed answers as I am a stylist.

I have been wearing clip ins for about 3 years now and have tried out a lot of Remy hair extension brands. The ones I have bought most recently were from Headkandy (headkandy.com) and they are by far the best quality hair I have ever used. They have stayed very silky and shiny even after I have used heat to curl/straighten them they have not dried out. A good thing about this brand is that the hair is multi-tonal, so even if it doesn't match your exact shade the hair blends to your own colour because of the various tones. You also get a lot of hair in a pack, I ordered 16-18" extensions and got 140g of hair, which is enough to do a full head. They also feature a quad-weft (four wefts of hair sewn together on one set of clips) which is great because it means you get more hair on your head and less clips! The clips also come attached to the hair which I thought was good and the pieces are numbered with a diagram on the leaflet to show you exactly how to put them in which I found very helpful!
Sorry if this is long but they really are GOOD extensions and I highly recommend them after going through so many packs of low quality hair myself.
