I am looking for an elegant, classy updo to wear for my birthday that isn't too complex and is good for medium length hair, help!

This is a little more complex than the other styles but it's pretty!

Ooo I love that one! It's like a modernised 1940s look! What style is it so I can look up a tutorial?

I can try to explain how I did it if you want.

Oh right! Haha, how did you do it?

Okay so I just tightly curled her whole head and then on the top I basically just draped some pieces of hair horizontally across the top of her head. Does that make sense? If you want more volume you can tease it too. And then I took a section of hair from the left side of her head and French braided it to just behind the ear on the right side. Then I did another braid exactly the same way as the first. After that I just pinned up the remaining hair in a way that looked good haha.

Curl your hair. then put it up in a regular ponytail. then take small strands roll them around your ponytail and pin them to the back of your head.

Diana I really like that! How simple is it to do? Also like the ponytail idea, thanks girls!
