The brand I'm currently loving (and want to get more from) is Louise Young. So worth the splurge, IMO. Though I also like MAC, Sigma, e.l.f. (Studio line only), EcoTools, and Sonia Kashuk.

mostly MAC is the best. there's a reason they're so expensive :P a lot of people love sigma because it's very good quality but is not as expensive as mac. you can also try sedona lace as i've heard good reviews about them.

Sigma & Mac hands down are the best brushes if you want to splurge. Sonia Kashuk is also great!
