My hair is dyed a deep red and has been for just a little over a month. I'm wanting to go back to light or medium brown. What would I need or do to get the red out?

Red color is really hard to get out. even if you color your hair black or dark brown, you can still see some red pigments when your out in the sun.

Would using a color remover or bleaching my hair then dying it work with removing as much red as possible?

You should get black dye on one layer of your hair and kind of blonde on your bottom layer.
