I want to get another piercing in my ear, but I'm going to the beach on August.
I don't know if its best to wait, cause I was thinking on getting it today. Plus, I've heard salt water helps wounds to heal... What you think?

I would wait. Just to be safe that it stays clean. You don't want to take chances with infected piercings, it's not worth it.

Well I've always cleaned my piercings with salt water. However, everywhere I've read stresses not to put too much salt in the water. I think if you don't dip your ears in the water too much it should be fine. Also, if you have a history of piercing infections that should be taken into account. Personally, I would do it and avoid putting my ear in the water too much or take regular water to splash it in my ear after I've gone swimming

I'm very clean and my first piercing never got infected (: maybe I just need to be very careful.

I also just got a second piercing (like 2 weeks ago ) and it has already healed, so if it goes as fast as it did with me it's np at all! and I agree completly with Rachel A.
