For the past few days the skin on my lips has been feeling super tight and uncomfortable. I keep them moisturized with lip balms and I know they're not sunburned, as I have not been outside much lately. I've tried exfoliating and that doesn't do anything. They look normal, maybe a tad swollen, but just looking at them you wouldn't know what's going on. I just got blood work done to test for allergies and I'm not allergic to any foods, so that's not it. Anything I can do that I haven't tried yet? Maybe some product recommendations? Thanks!!

Drink lots of water and still try to exfoliate and use lipbalm. My lips did that too and I have no idea why but they went back to normal within a week.

As you hv already tried much. I would suggest you to drink water as much you can. I felt same often as I hv huge lips they get dried soon so I increases my water intake that helps a lot. :)

I'm quite late but I have the same thing. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction but I'm not so sure. It's odd that applying pressure to it relieves the tightness for a little, and lip balm helps as long as it's on. It's happened to me almost annually, and leaves as soon as it mysteriously appears about a week later. Anyone have answers?

I'm 14 years old since I stop using chapstick my lips become dry and my lips is so tight stop using vaseline or any kind of chapstick because your lips will become use to it and it won't produce moisture anymore and one more thing is drink a lot of water don't touch it or peel it will peel off by itself my lips is still dry chapped and tight.
