Well, if you're going on holiday in the summer vacation to somewhere sunny and want to get your hair lighter? Here what you do!
Every morning squeeze half a lemon in your hair and mix it all in. Then when you go out in the sun the sun reacts with the acidity in the lemon, taking the darker pigment in your hair and leaving it with a lighter one! It's a slow process but it's better than killing your hair with chemechals!
Hope this is helpful xox

It will also dry out your hair and cause breakage if you don't condition it--just like chemical lighteners. Lemon juice IS a chemical: citric acid. Just because it comes from a fruit, doesn't mean it is any healthier than conventional products. Whenever you lighten your hair you HAVE to condition it, or it will be dry and brittle.

Also, if you have any red tones in your hair, you will more than likely end up with orange streaks instead of gold/blonde highlights. A lot of salons won't fix hair that has been treated with Sun-in, because the hair won't take dye evenly. Just a heads up.
