What's the best red lipstick for dark skin?

I have been trying to find a good red lipstick for my skin but every color I try seems waaay too bright any suggestions?

If you like just buy a dark plum lipgloss by revlon or maybelline to come down if the lippy is to light but I believe is gorgeous on all.

Going with purples and browns with the red is a good start, my best friend is a little lighter than you and it looks perfect on her.

I'd just pay attention to brightness as opposed to darkness of the red for your skin tone. My favorite bright red is from Mac, but I forget the name.

Ruby Woo, Lush Life, Evetyday Diva, and Cockney from MAC. Word NYX they have a color in their matte line called Alabama that I'm wearing here.
