Personally if I was pregnant I wouldn't do anything like that at ALL! I would be very healthy and not do anything to contaminate my body or rid of anything not natural.

Okay, so my friend asked her ob this and he said its not dangerous the only thing is that because of hormones it may not take. she died her hair at eight and a half months pregnant. as a med student, I've looked into this, I've asked nurses, different doctors, they've all said (along with my anatomy book) the same thing. hope I helped!

I'm a hairdresser and the only reason we try not to is because hormones may cause the colour to change.. And if doing a home dye then make sure you are in a well ventilated room because of risk of fainting etc.. I wa never taught that it is harmful and many pregnant women do it to feel better about themselves.. I dyed mine while I was pregnant xx

When I was in cosmetology school they taught us to be more concered with what youre breathing in. try booking your appointment at the end of the day so you are the only one in the salon getting a color service. you can also do off the root colorings to avoid scalp absorbtion. other than that you should be fine but always talk to your doc about it first.
