I have Redken all soft heavy cream super treatment for dry/brittle hair. It's basically a hair mask and it says to wash it out after 5-15 minutes. But I was wondering if its okay to just leave it in for a couple of days and not wash it out until I next wash my hair?

I'm not sure if it is meant to do that it might have negative effects on your hair if you leave it in for a couple days but I'm not sure.

Oh ok. Because I was hoping that it would leave my hair even more conditioned as it would basically dry into my hair?

I wouldn't do that, follow the directions for the best use I'd say. You could over process your hair and make it really crunchy or something like that.

You could leave in something like coconut oil for a while though for extra moisture.

That doesn't sound like a good idea. its full of chemicals that could further damage your hair and most likely irritate the skin on your scalp

Yeah, don't do that. You can leave it in for about 30 mins, but I wouldn't go higher than that.

Its ok to leave it in at night while you sleep but wash it out when you wake up.
