Depends on how tall you are and how much you weigh. You're pretty enough to be, but a lot of people are. The height & measurement requirements get people. I used to model; don't anymore.

Go for it girl!! Just don't change your body to what they want it to be! It can lead to nasty things. But otherwise the money is great and a lot of girls would kill to be a model like me! But I'm really short.

I've always been told I look like I could be a model but I'm way to short. I'm 15 and 5' 3" and I weigh 86 pounds! I honestly don't know why height matters all that much but ya! I say go for it! That's what I want to do to and I'm not going to back down because people say I'm to short!(:

Honestly, most agencies will not take you unless you are over 5'7". You could model children's clothes, but once you start developing more you will not be able to. My friend Destiney was a children's model for Dilard's until she was 14.

I say 15 or 16! I started working as a model some this year (I'm a freshman) it just depends on what you modeling for. Most places where I've worked go for 15 and up because of what they are modeling but some you could go for a year younger. It all depends on what you want to model and if you want to do shows or in store or magazines or what!

They'll usually take 5'7" for like run way or really professional (but they usually prefer 5'8" and up). Though I'd your shorter you could to commercial modeling like posters and stuff and they don't really care as much about height there.
