My skin is normal, but oily on my nose & not so much on my tzone :( I've used multiple brands of primers and foundations but oil just keeps seeping through :( What primers or oil absorbing products do you guys recommend?

I agree, the stay matte powder. I've heard that's great and my friends love it.

You you can get oil absorbant wipes and just dab your nose. my friend tyra has the same problem but she also has really sensitive skin. So she can't use some foundations. I think she uses Nutrogena. I prob spelled that wrong.

No. My friend has a really oily nose and she uses them on average 2 times a day and it just absorbs the makeup without messing it up. I've used them a few times but I use elf. their not as good but they still work. so long as you dab and don't like smudge itll be fine.

Milk of Magnesia works wonders 4 me & I have very oily skin especially my nose/tone area, I apply it as my primer also saves me a bundle :-)

Hi Abby, sometimes its the counter action of the primer and foundation, for it to work properly you need to know if they share similar ingredients and if they don't that could be the cause of it not working well together. Also sometimes when you have to much products on the area its also fight against each other that is and in some cases that is why some may not need a face primer on those areas. However I would suggests a Anti-Shine primer to help but keep in mind all other products should be similar to help with the staying power. Its all trail n error when it comes to makeup and sooner then later you'll find out what works best for you.Oh and if you moisturized before on the area that could also be an issue.hope this helps :-) What is your routine when applying?

Thanks guys! My foundation routine is that I exfoliate my skin, mosturize and wait 20 mins for it to let in absorb into my skin, apply my primer & after ten mintutes I apply my foundation. Am I doing something wrong here? :/

Not sure if those ten minutes you wait affect the product but I would think primer is supposed to go right before foundation unless the primer you use says to wait? I moisturize and apply primer (when I use it) as soon as the moisturizer is absorbed (I also put on my make up in front of a fan... always!) then my foundation...

I feel if I apply my foundation right after my foundation, it won't stay in place. Idk, maybe it's just me but I will try it that way :o

I use bb cream. Garniers Skin Renew bb cream for oil to combo skin, and a nice powder down. Are you're talking to the most oily person ever right now! This stuff works.
