I have very oily eyelids so even waterproof liners tend to melt off. I use paint pots and the maybelline color tattoos. Should I still use a primary?

I meant primer. I was half asleep when I was typing. I use UDPP when I'm not using the paint pot. Some days I just wear eyeliner only that's when it seems to be the worst. Liner tends to disappear on my bottom lash line also.

You can still use an eye primer for your eyes and paint pot is a base that's different from a eye primer.

If you just wear eye liner is it top & bottom? Either way I would use the primer so the liner won't smear off but if the eye primer doesn't quite work I would use a anti shine primer and when applying liner set it with a eye shadow powder that matches it. :-)

Top and bottom most days. Someone suggested I try elf eye powder. when I do my face today I'm going tho try putting primer on the bottom lash line. I'm actually going to wear shadow today.

Urban Decay's Primer works wonders for me. Eyeshadow melts off if I don't use it.
