I want to dye my red hair back to blonde and I know it's not going to be easy. any suggestions?

Try bleaching your hair day by day with lemon. Just squeeze some lemon on damp hair then sit in the sun till your hair is completely dried. Day by day your hair will get lighter and lighter, which will make it easier to dye
Good lick and please follow me if my advice was helpful

Definitely don't do lemon to go from your red to blonde. It has to be done in stages I suggest getting it done professionally if that's not an option for you then youtube videos I've seen a ton.

Actually my friend is a hair stylist and that is what she recommended so seriously I know what I'm talking about.

I'm a cosmetologist and lemon isn't going to help at all, it helps whiten teeth. And by the color of theory even if it were to help, the yellow of the lemon combined with the red while lightening it would take it from red to orange because it would bring out the copper undertone. Just bleach it. Lightening hair is never an easy process.

Apply an blonde ash ash the ash will help reduce the red.

I'm also a cosmetologist and lemons won't help... I was thinking exactly what laura said! It depends how blonde your going to want to go, your best options are one either having your stylist do a full heavy foil and painting between the foils with an ash based light brown or dark blonde to cancel out the red. Or second option would to have your stylist do a bleach wash and then apply an ash blonde to cancel out the warmth! it will probably take more than one visit to get you back hun! and make sure you invest in a good deep conditioner and keep up with regular trims!

I am a cosmetology too and I would agree with Megan..

Speaking as someone who has gone from red to blonde and vice versa multiple times I really have to recommend going to a salon. It can be really hard to get every spot lightened evenly at one time without damaging your hair. It's very much a gradual process and should be handled professionally so your hair doesn't get damaged.

When I went from red to blonde I used bleach then an ash blonde to get rid of brassiness. Then toning shampoo to stop it yellowing.
