What are your thoughts on cleansing oils for oily combination skin. Which brands do you recommend?

I have oily/combo skin and I love using Bobbi Brown's Soothing Cleansing Oil. Since discovering another cleanser I now just use the cleansing oil to remove eye makeup (paired up with a baby wash cloth). Don't bother with the Sephora cleansing oil brand...it contains mineral oil so all that does is leave a funny residue on the skin.

The sephora oil cleanser is very nice but it's the least technologically advanced one in the store. It doesn't have much of a fragrance which I like but to be honest I'm not entirely sure it's much different than putting any oil on your face and using it as a cleanser. And this is coming from a girl that works at sephora! Lol
My favorite one is from Nude. It's not extremely smelly and it doesn't leave you skin feeling like it has an oily film left on it after you rinse. Go get a sample!

I use baby wipes with sweet almond oil! Works really even for waterproof mascara.

I have Shu Umera's skin purifier cleansing oil. It's a little on the luxury side, price wise, but it cuts through waterproof mascara and lip stains like nothing, and leaves your skin baby soft. If you really want something that will soothe the skin and cut through even stage makeup?? Ponds cold cream all the way!! So old school, but definitely soothes skin and I find, evens out my dry and oily areas.

I love using OCM, I usually just make my own potions. Since I've been using OCM my skin had been the best it's been since my early 20s. I'll be 37 next month & wish I new about this sooner.

Your best bet is to buy the individual oils; organic and cold pressed, and mix your own blend that's specific for your skin. And contrary to popular belief, it's not expensive at all to do this. The oil cleansing method actually cleanses your skin and removes makeup easily. There are several blogs, websites, and YouTube videos explaining it. I can also explain it in depth if you'd like, just message me. I use this cleansing method and it works beautifully. It will also balance out the pH of your skin and your natural skin will look lovely. :)

If you have acne prone or oily skin, I don't recommend using oil based cleansers! Hope this helps in your decision! xo Carabelle.
