Hi guys! I have had red cheeks all my life and I am absolutely fine with them, but sometimes I just want my face to look flawless. :)) But everytime I apply my foundation, my cheeks find their way to show up anyway. It makes my foundation look like it's too dark on me.. frustrating! It looks like rosacea (and probably is) but doen't show any sensitivities or flare ups. I just have really red cheeks. :P I know about the green and yellow primers but was always a little reluctant about how much they actually do. Do you maybe know what to do?

Try dabbing on some concealer under or over your foundation. Use one that has a yellowish tone to it to help balance the redness. Applying with a damp sponge helps it look smooth and even. Also, try skipping blush and just using a hi lighter or bronzer to avoid adding back any redness. Also, if there is still some redness peeking through try setting just that area with a powder foundation in addition to the rest of your makeup, then take that with you to retouch during the day :)

Green concealer is really good at counter-acting the redness. Just apply a tiny bit and blend then follow with foundation.

I might try that Toribeth :) use Benefits Lemonaid on my chin, around my nose and on my cheeks to counteract the redness, and I use it under my eyes to get rid of the purple tones. Its my favourite. I will look at loreal next time I go shopping, always nice to have a cheaper option.

Think of color theory green is the opposite or red... so when you add green Concealer it cancel the red ;)
