I use airbrush makeup (dinair paramedical) everyday and it only lasts 6-7 hours. The formula is suppose to work on acne prone skin ( which I have) and other skin issues. This formula is alcohol based and is suppose to last for 12-24 hours. Is there anything that may work or insight on why it won't last? I also have combination skin. Thank you.

Hmm... I use camera ready cosmetics airbrush foundation with the dinair compressor on my clients and it last all day! But I cleanse their face first so there is no oil ( no moisturizer!) then I finish their whole look with a finishing spray through the compressor ( I use ben nye final seal) :) hope that helps... oh yeah I use a primer if they have oily skin also ;)

I hate my airbrush makeup too! such a waste of money. it goes on oily, despite primer, and instead of it going on evenly by itself you have to rub it in because it stays on top of facial hair/ peach fuzz.

I'm Dinair certified and am a professional makeup artist. I use Dinair 90% of the time when I'm doing makeup. It is recommended that you don't put anything on the skin at all before applying it. If you do it MUST be water based or the foundation will just slip around and not last as long. Most people don't realize the primer and foundation must have the same bases or the makeup won't last long. I recommend hourglass mineral viel primer it's expensive but worth it to me. I hope I could help y'all out! Airbrush makeup is the most amazing thing ever if used correctly!! :)
