Go to www.lushusa.com a lot of there shampoos especially the (new) shampoo bar has biotin in it to help grow hair faster and stronger also take biotin pills. Blousey from lush is also really good for curly hair.

You could do a protein treatment which is basically just eggs, yogurt, and honey. I don't fully remember the recipe, but I can get it if you would like. It definitely helped my hair with strength, growth, and curls.

Sorry it took me so long, but I finally got the actual recipe.
-1egg beaten until frothy
-5 tablespoons of mayo
-1 tablespoon of olive oil
-mix together until creamy
-put on dry or damp hair and work from root to end
-let sit for 30 mins with a plastic cap or Walmart bag
-rinse out with cool water
*No ponytails for 2-3 days*

I don't think talking to a doctor is very necessary to take biotin, I take the highest doseage of 5000 mcgs and I'm still the same weight. I mean maybe if you gain weight stop, but everyone I know never gained weight from it. I mean it is a vitamin. Seriously the new shampoo from lush works wonders and smells great.
