Has anyone tried to or successfully worn cream blushes and/or liquid highlighters with mineral makeup such as Bare Minerals? If so do you apply them under or on top of your mineral foundation? Just curious as to how this would be done.

I have tried it and it didn't work well at all for me because the liquid highlighter takes over lol that was years ago I say apply liquid and cream first then only apply powder where needed which is usually ideal when used with mineral powder.Atleast that's what I've learned  :-)

Very light hand and don't put any in areas with creases or wrinkles bc it will be super noticable.

Oh and I've only tried on top of mineral makeup.

Minita how did you apply it? Fingers or a brush?

@Alma I kind of have this fear of walking into a room after putting liquid highlighter on top of MMU and blinding everyone. Or getting offered a part time job as disco ball at a club.

When I use cream blush I do that first, let it set. Then apply powder. I like it because if the blush is a little dark the powder softens it.

@Dagni,Lol disco diva! Ya that's a fear I would have too. I agree with what Marilyn said that would work fine.I usually apply the cream blush with my fingers.

Two fingers ring and middle. makeupgeek in YouTube has some great tips for cream blush app. I have a darker skin tone and no problems with cream makeup but I would put setting powder on top for sure to avoid the disco ball lol.
