Since this is getting the most attention on here nowadays, I wanted to get my make up question answered. I don't use any foundation or bb cream or concealer. I use bronzer and translucent powder. What would a face primer do for my face? Should I use one? How do I apply it? Thanks...

Primers just help face makeup to stay on longer. I apply it with my hands.

And I would say that you don't really need a primer unless you use foundation/concealer because they are more likely to move or come off during the day. But if you feel you need it then go for it. I use the Nuetrogena Heathy Skin primer.

Emilie is right. Primers are used to keep your makeup on longer. If you're not using foundation then you shouldn't need one.

Okay. Thanks ladies. I notice that sometimes the powder looks a little bumpy I guess if I layer it too much and wasnt sure if the primer made it smoother or not.

Does the powder stay on? The purpose of powder is to set a foundation (or bb cream or tinted moisturizer). So putting powder without it might not last as long as you'd like it to.

It stays on for the most part, but when I re-apply after work it tends to look a little bumpy or uneven. I re-apply because by the end of a work day I look greasy or shiny again.

Instead of reapplying use a blotting paper instead.
