How long does it take for your hair to grow? what's your current hair length? What do you do to maintain it healthy and too prevent damage.

About a year ago I got my hair cut up to my shoulders. It grew about 6 inches. But I never got it cut in that year so it was really damaged and stopped growing. I recently got a couple inches off my hair. Getting trims keeps it healthy.

My hair was an inch below the top of my butt. I cut about 3 inches and was at my waist I wanted new healthy ends. Its been like 3 weeks and my hair is now below my waist :) the ends still look freshly cut ;) I use no heat, no products, wash hair every 3 or 4 days using the organix hair line. I do coconut oil massages on scalp and all over hair for a few hours or afternight before shower. I also recently put it in buns and braids more since they say it prevents end damage.

My hair grows about an inch every month or two. I get it trimmed at least twice a year, wash every day, and use minimal heat.
