Do you trim your hair at all? Trimming your ends can help with the growth process. Hair typically grows 1/2 a month, some people grow more and others less. I've done and inch and a half in two months for some reason, which is more then I usually grow. But I've been putting grapeseed and coconut oil in my hair more these past two months.

I would agree my hair grows about half an inch a month and usually when I get a trim its about 2 inches off the length and then let grow for about 4-6 months and get it trimmed again but it could be your genetics playing a role in how long your hair will/can grow if it never seems to get much longer than that even if you don't cut it for a year I would say its your genes and not much you can do about it just keep your hair healthy and scalp free of build up that could be stopping the hair from growing.
