So I have an extra room that me ad my husband share for office space for outside of work, work. He is a computer IT, I am a nurse. He is also a music engineer and I am a Hairstylist and makeup artist. Ok so to the point:

I have my mani station and hair stuff set up already, the beauty area however I have run into a little issue. So I want to do a diy vanity with a mirror and the bar lights. I found a video on youtube on how to do it, but when I look at the specifications on homedepot for the lighting fixtures it specifies the bulbs to buy. I'm not sure if this is an option or a must, but incadescent light is the worst light to apply makeup with. I prefer to use CFL DAYLIGHT WITH 1000+ LUMENS. Has anyone tried to do a diy vanity with anything else other than incadescent bulbs?
