Went into sephora looking for a setting powder and the woman gave me bare minerals matte foundation.. Does that sound weird to put over my existing foundation? Has anyone had any luck with bare minerals foundation on its own. I'm not sure how to apply by itself.

I use the Original foundation. I use it by it self. I love it. Use it over a powder also. Play around with it and see what you like best.

I use it lightly over liquid foundation or bb cream and like the results a lot. Only use where you want more coverage or more matte. I personally wouldn't recommend putting it evenly all over unless its a very light application.

With minerals if you put too much it will look cakey..so I agree with the girls if its going to be over foundation go light..when you went to sephora did they try it on you? well if you don't like it you could go back and tell them..also if you want to use this powder on its own you could use it Wet..look for tutorials in YouTube.

I use BM Ready Foundation. I adore it. It looks very natural, no mess and it doesn't break me out at all.

I like the READY foundation by itself ( in a compact not loose).. gives great coverage.
