I don't know what this mascara does!

I bought the max factor eye brightening mascara for blue eyes and does anyone know if it changes colour when dry? It's a shimmery sapphire colour on the brush and as soon as you put it on your eyelashes but sometimes it's black when dry and some times it's the same shimmery sapphire, please help <3.

It stays shimmery on me.I tend to put a normal mascara on first then this on top.I love it.
