Need help on nail options!

So I'm stuck between what type of nails I should get at the salon? I've had acrylic and gel before and I liked it however I heard different opinions on them on what's more damaging. So I'm stuck on either shellac,gel, or acrylic nails. My nails grow long and are really strong.

You have beautiful nails acrylic and gel will kill them. go with shellac:) I've had horrible experiences with acrylic/gel... my nails are still damaged and its been 6months.

Shellac is the better option of the three. Didn't damage mine at all!
