I feel you! Mine turned out the same! I didn't use the dye you used though. I'm actually just going to dye my hair tonight back to one solid color. :) I've dyed mine over the bleach many times. :)

As a hairstylist I dreaded when I saw a commercial for boxed ombre kits... but to tone out the orange go to sallys and pick out a ash light brown or dark blonde demi-permanent hair color and developer and that will cancel out the orange, and also pick up a deep conditioner packet there for 99 cents!

If its bleach you might want to wait a week at least and you can either bleach it again until you can tone it or ask a professional colorist if you should tone it. Don't take my advice completely because I am not licensed. Good luck!

Megan, thanks! Lol

You could tone with a neutral or cool color to counteract some of the warmth.

Oh and also please don't use boxed colors anymore.. especially the feria line, those cause the most damage and are the hardest to correct.

But toning it won't make it lighter only using lighter "bleach" will do that. Toning it will only make the orange not as bright.

Bleach it again you can go to sallys or a beauty supplie store for 2 or 3 bucks lets it sit in for 5 min or 8 in will go blonde...and try to use ointment to take care if your hair after.

Bleaching it after you just bleached it isn't a good idea. Wait a few week then you could try again otherwise there will be breakage. Megan is right go to a professional.

Bleaching out boxed color isn't a good idea especially feria because it most likely won't lift out and just cause further damage.

Feria is the devil. you need to take a trip to sallys.

If you have dark hair I recomend you stay away from bleach! For you hair to turn out blonde you have to bleach several times and your hair won't look so hot.. If you dye your hair any goldish color with time is going to turn orange if you don't use special shampoos and stuff. Trust me I've learned all this the hard way and you would not believe how much money I've spent on my hair ever since I bleached it all blonde. I hope this helps and good luck whatever you do <3.

Like @Sarah M. said! I think the ombré look would look really gorgeous, done right of course! I'm so sorry that hair dye turned out that way, must have been a bummer. Wait a week before you do anything else to it and take SERIOUS care of it once you redye it or bleach it. Once you're happy (go to a professional this time!) don't color it and try to stay away from heat products for as long as possible. Hope I helped and I hope you can fix it! Xx
