My pores are gross. I wash my face and use proactive but the pores on my nose are huge and full of oil and dirt. And it's only on my nose. I've tried Bior? pore strips and they work well sometimes but most of the time its just too much dirt so it doesn't look any different. Help!

Even though it might not completely help I use a scrub... Or try getting some kin of mask that pulls out all dirt and oil,.. I looked it up a while ago and lemon juice, tomato juice, and applying ice on it should help...:)

Number 1, your pores are genetic. Bigger pores, produce more oil, which is gross now but in the future you will look tons younger that everyone else. Your pores will always get filled up everday with dirt, thats why every day you have to scrub. I like using facewash that has microbeads. also pure clover honey is good. its called a honey pat down. with your hands and face dry you dab the honey in a thin layer on your face and rub and rinse off. It pulls the dirt out. And it has a natural anti oxidant I believe that keeps the pores cleaner for longer. personally I tried proactive. it sucks! it's not for everyone, rarely works for anyone at that matter.

My pores and blackheads always clear up after I do a facial steaming. I start by washing my face with a mild cleanser, then I bring water to an almost boil but not boiling! I set a big bowl on a table in front of a comfy chair and then pour the water into the bowl, I sit and drape a towel over my head with my face over the bowl, like a tent, to completely trap all the steam. I do this for 15-20 minutes. Your going to sweat, A LOT, but this is all the dirt and impurities purging themselves from your open pores. It's going to seem a little hard and uncomfortable to breath, but just breathe slowly and relax. And don't get your face too close to the water. Be very careful with this hot water! After your done, exfoliate with a paste of baking soda and water, rinse with COLD water, apply a toner or astringent and wait 5 mins for pores to close completely before applying a moisturizer.
I do this about once a month and once a week I do a mask of one egg white beaten until a little stiff, tbsp honey and oatmeal ground in a coffee grinder or I just smash in a bowl with a shot glass. apply this and leave on until dry and crackly. It's pretty liquidy, so its best to apply lying down. I like this fast mask because the honey and oatmeal draw dirt and oils out of pores and the honey also help with scars, acne and dark spots. the egg whites tighten skin.
Hope this helps :)
