Okay, so I've heard a lot about how pore strips are really damaging to your skin, but do they even work? I just bought some from Biore and now I'm not sure if I should use them. Opinions?

Yea I believe they're safe. If they were damaging I don't think they would make them for your skin. Just don't use them too often. I say once a week is good enough. I don't really have that much black heads so I use them every two weeks. Pore strips are great :) they really get rid of black heads. The down side is that they kind of hurt when you peel them off :( but hey beauty is pain! lol :P

I use the ones from biore. But with Japanese packaging. And I really like them. It's really satisfying to see the blackheads when they are out. :) (I am a creep)

I know someone who works to make the pore strips and they said that tape (regular clear tape) is the exact same thing! And it's cheaper too! So I tried it and pressed in on my face for about 30 seconds and took it off and saw my black heads!! Gross! But it worked 😊👍

The one thing I recommend to keep the pore strips from being "bad for you" is to make sure that you have them properly placed. It's very easy to have part of the nose strips adhering to the sensitive under-eye area if you have them placed too high or if the strip is too large.

I use them occasionally. Do give baby oil a try. Massage to damp nose for about 7-10 minutes. It will feel like a long time when you're doing it, but be patient... The gunks will come out! Clean with warm towel afterward. Of course pore strip is obviously faster and more convenient, but I love using baby oil too.
