I know that when you color your hair red its going to fade more quickly than say a brown or even blonde...aside from not washing your hair everyday and using color safe shampoo and conditioner what else can I do to reduce my chances of fading and looking like bozo the clown?? Help! <3.

Oooor... you can always add red color into your conditioner that way everytime you do wash your hair red color is being deposoted into your hair. I've had my hair red for the past 3 weeks and it is still as vibrant... but I shampoo 2-3x a week and I just did the retouch up with manic panic rock n roll red :)

When you dry your hair with a towel just pat it don't rub it too much or all the dye will come off. I personally only use leave in conditioners so my hair is exposed less to water. don't sleep with wet hair it'll all rub off onto your pillow case! and I use a.semi permanent dye every two weeks to bring back Color I use Raw from hot topic works amazing

You can use a colour depositor. I use the chi conditioner depositor and it adds colour to my hair all the time. Only problem is the amount of colour it leaves behind.
