I have super oily hair and what has helped me is not putting conditioner on my roots just on my tips! and also using dove dry shampoo.

Yeah dry shampoo should really help out, my hair is colored and dry shampoo helps to lock the color on longer and makes it look like I just washed it

Also the best thing about second day hair is it holds a curl better than fresh out of the shower. So go ahead and curl it and if it still looks oily put in dry shampoo but follow the directions, you don't want a white streak down your head.
