I used to struggle with this, but I managed to learn by doing dots along the lash line then joining them up. take it slow and don't forget that practice makes perfect!

The dot method and a felt tip pin may be best for you. It's not good to pull your eyelid when applying anything to the eyes. The skin around the eye is very sensitive and wrinkles easier then other parts of the body. Pulling helps with the wrinkling process.

And of you need to pull the skin around the eye, by pulling UP its a defence against the wrinkles occurring. To do eyeliner a lot of people need to have their skin pulled to get a good line. Especially mAture skin types! I learned in school to always pull up and when removing makeup same thing everything up.
